Writing a grant is something like a cross between a term paper and a tax return. While this might not sound like fun, my easygoing style will help you to discover your unique voice and story, master the common sections of a typical grant proposal, and give you the behind-the-scenes tips for working with foundations (hint – it’s all about cultivating those relationships). Through one-on-one or small group training, we can customize our work together to focus on the proposals and opportunities that are the best prospects for your success.
Coaching for Development Staff
Small nonprofits often begin with staff who have come from other fields of experience and lack training on managing the ins and outs of fundraising relationships and building a development office. My 3-, 6-, and 12-month contracts for coaching support offer monthly check-ins and ongoing phone and email support to personally address your targeted needs, and support you in developing the skills and strategies that work for you.
